The J&B Met is Cape Town’s premier race and one of the top social events of the year in the Fairest Cape.
It certainly was a colourful event and the themed followed the fashion trends for this year.
From stunning designer outfits to handwoven quilted jackets, all with a vibrant splash of colour.
The J&B Met favourite, Pocket Power, did not cross the line first at this year’s race,
but the winner was still from trainer Mike Bass’ stables.

thanks for the information and the pictures, by the way the event was so cool, all the tokens of this whiskey was so good.
Those images remind me when I was in carnivals from Rio de Janeiro and dresses were colorful. What a fabulous memories.
